Codes and conventions of a Radio advert

Radio adverts

  • The channel is mentioned
  • Average length is approximetely 40 seconds
  • Clips from the programme
  • Voiceover narrating what the show is about (outline only)
  • Voiceover poses the questions that will be answered in show
  • Voiceover in advert is same voice from documentary
  • They mention the scheduling
  • Ocasionally a music bed
